How many different connections are there?
There are 7 ways in which you can connect your clients to the Internet.

• Normal analogue dial up using a normal telephone line obtainable from Telkom. This is slow and not recommended for doing business over the Internet. It is more suitable for the occasional home user.
• 64k ISDN digital. This is about 5 times faster than analogue. In fact, you receive two telephone lines, one to use for the Internet and the other to be used for voice or fax simultaneously. Telkom does the installation and line.
• 128k ISDN digital. This is about 10 times faster than analogue. In fact, you receive two telephone lines, one to use for the Internet and the other to be used for voice or fax simultaneously. Telkom does the installation and line.
• ADSL line is necessary for any online business. The installation and line are by Telkom. ADSL supply you with Internet access on a 24x7 basis at a flat rate per month at 512kpbs download speed and 256k upload speed, non-guaranteed. You will also need to install an ADSL modem (router) ADSL normally comes with a Cap, meaning you can download and upload till you have reached your Cap, there-after your International Bandwidth is very slow and sometimes dead.
  • We supply ADSL from 1 GIG to 100 GIG
• All Telkom ADSL are also capped, the difference between our ADSL is that you will not be capped on local bandwidth.
  • Telkom Cost per lines depends on the line speed.
• Uncapped ADSL works the same as normal ADSL just without the CAP. We will supply you with a Cisco Router and 5 static IP address, you will have to supply and out going mail server to your clients. We currently do not supply any Wireless connections; we are not willing to sell at this stage any connectivity that is unstable. Leased Lines, This is a true 24/7/365 connection, you will also receive a permanent static IP address, but this option is very costly.

1.    INTERPRETATION

     In these terms and conditions: "The user/the client/you" means the party who has purchased the service and/or any person using the service; "the service" means the Internet service described herein provided by CyberISP to the user in terms of the terms and conditions herein contained.

2.    MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

     CyberISP may temporarily suspend its obligations in terms of this agreement in order to service, repair, maintain, upgrade, modify, alter, replace or improve any of it’s services. Where the circumstances permit, CyberISP shall use its best endeavours to provide prior notice of any such suspension to the client. The client shall not be entitled to any setoff, discount, refund or other credit in respect of any such suspension of service nor in respect of any suspension, which is beyond CyberISP’s control.

3.    Client Payment’s DEBIT ORDERS

     All clients WILL BE SIGNED on via debit order.

     CyberISP will run the debit orders

     A fee of R60-00 will be deducted from you account for every debit order returned unpaid.

4.    PAYMENT / PRICING

     CyberISP billing runs on the 25th of each month. CyberISP shall be entitled to take further steps as may be necessary to recover the outstanding amount from you, in which event you agree to pay all costs associated with such recovery on an attorney and own client basis. Failing to settle your account with in 7 days from statement all services will be suspended, till account is settled in full. CyberISP Reserve the right to modify or make changes to any pricing with accordance to the price changes with from the suppliers (SAIX / IS). CyberISP will inform all clients well in advance accordingly. 

5.    Subscriptions

     By signing this document, I understand that the services will be rendered for the period of twelve (12) months with a 90 day cancellation notification. If we do not receive written notice of cancellation after your 12 months has expired that the contract will be automatically renewed for a further 12 months as stated in 5. The client will still remain liable for the monthly payment even if the client decides to move the services to another Internet Service Provider. The contract can be cancelled by paying the outstanding amount on the remainder of the contract in full. Until such time, the client is still bound by the terms and conditions of this contract. Cancellation of services must be done in writing. Services will only be cancelled after any outstanding amounts on the clients’ statement has been received and confirmed. CyberISP permits authorized users with unlimited access to its system. Idle time, non-dialup-use, and use of system resources not directly related to interactive dialup-access (including, but not limited, use of disk space and CPU time) may be restricted or may incur additional charges. CyberISP will not be liable to the subscriber nor to any associated party for damages, incidental or consequential, of any nature whatsoever. Payment is rendered without deduction, free of exchange or set-off by way of debit order, or in such manner as determined by CyberISP. It is a condition of activation that details of a valid, current bank account are provided for debit order purposes. All amounts due to CyberISP will be recovered from the banking source given.

     This amount is non-refundable.

Acceptable User Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy specifies the actions prohibited by CyberISP, to users of the CyberISP Network. CyberISP reserves the right to modify the Policy at any time, effective upon posting of the modified Policy on this website.
ILLEGAL USE
The CyberISP Network may be used only for lawful purposes. Transmission, distribution or storage of any material in violation of any applicable law or regulation is prohibited. This includes, without limitation, material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property right used without proper authorization, and material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates export control laws.
SYSTEM AND NETWORK SECURITY.
Violations of system or network security are prohibited, and may result in criminal and civil liability. CyberISP will investigate incidents involving such violations and may involve and will cooperate with law enforcement if a criminal violation is suspected. Examples of system or network security violations include, without limitation, the following: Unauthorized access to or use of data, systems or networks, including any attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without express authorization of the owner of the system or network. Unauthorized monitoring of data or traffic on any network or system without express authorization of the owner of the system or network. Interference with service to any user, host or network including, without limitation, mail bombing, flooding, deliberate attempts to overload a system and broadcast attacks. Forging of any TCP-IP packet header or any part of the header information in an email or a newsgroup posting.
WEB TRAFFIC
We supply unlimited bandwidth as long as bandwidth is not abused. We retain the right to highlight any irregular usage, we will inform you and if no action is taken we will invoice accordingly.
EMAIL
Sending unsolicited mail messages, including, without limitation, Make-Money-Fast (MMF) schemes, chain letters, commercial advertising and informational announcements, is explicitly prohibited. A user shall not use another site's mail server to relay mail without the express permission of the site. As it is against our policy to allow Mail Relaying via CyberISP we implemented a process to prevent this. This means that our VISP (Virtual ISP) end-users connecting to a CyberISP POP may make use of smtp.co.za as their SMTP host. What will not be allowed is for the VISP to point their mail server to smtp.co.za as a mail relay.
EMAIL (POP)
All EMAIL/POP accounts administered by CyberISP systems including but not limited to accounts on 'ispemail.CO.ZA' and on the Virtual Web Hosting servers (oblix.CyberISPisp.co.za) have the following restrictions. (CyberISP reserves the right to do the following...)

·   There is a per e-mail limit of 10 Mb.

·   Mail boxes are limited to a maximum size of 20 Mb.

·   Individual mail messages older than six months may be deleted.

·   Incoming e-mails may be scanned for viruses and subsequently may be deleted.

·   Incoming e-mails may be scanned for Spam (unsolicited e-mail) and subsequently may be deleted.

·   When a user is Deleted or Marked for Deletion, all of that users e-mail will be deleted.

·   CyberISP makes no guarantee to provide a SPAM and/or Virus free e-mail service.

USENET
Posting the same or similar message to one or more newsgroups (excessive cross-posting or multiple-posting, also known as "SPAM") is explicitly prohibited. A seemingly accepted number of simultaneous postings is a maximum of five (5). The posting of Make-Money-Fast (MMF) schemes is explicitly prohibited.
SIMULTANEOUS LOGINS
Username/Password combinations supplied by our ISP's are not transferable. It is the sole responsibility of the end-user to keep his Username/Password confidential. Although we have the mechanism to prevent simultaneous logins violating this agreement constitutes an illegal action. INDIRECT OR ATTEMPTED VIOLATIONS OF THE POLICY, AND ACTUAL OR ATTEMPTED VIOLATIONS BY A THIRD PARTY ON BEHALF OF A CYBERISP CUSTOMER OR A CUSTOMER'S END USER, SHALL BE CONSIDERED VIOLATIONS OF THE POLICY BY SUCH CUSTOMER OR END USER.
CyberISP does not in any way support SPAM or any form of NETWORK ABUSE and enforces the CyberISP Terms and Conditions and Acceptable Use Guidelines on a stringent basis when complaints are made. Enforcement of CyberISP Terms and Conditions as well as its Acceptable Use Guidelines for reasons of SPAM or NETWORK ABUSE will result in suspension or termination of account access privileges. Complaints regarding Illegal Use or System or Network Security issues or e-Mail abuse or USENET abuse or SPAM should be sent to support@CyberISP.co.za
